The Bergisel ski jump: Innsbruck.

The Bergisel occupies an important place in the history of Innsbruck: even Andreas Hofer once competed here. Today, the Bergisel is home to world’s most modern ski jump which attracts countless athletes and tourists from all over the world to this historic hill above Innsbruck.

The Bergisel got its first ski jump in 1925 and Innsbruck has twice played host to the Olympic Games (1964 und 1976). The newly designed, modern jump was the brain child of renowned architect Zaha Hadid and is a real architectural masterpiece, which can be considered a highlight of the alpine city.

Visit this unique ski jump on a daytrip to Innsbruck. At the top of the tower you will even find a restaurant that offers a breathtaking view over the city.
